Dr. Wayne Genck has specialized in industrial crystallization and precipitation for over 20 years. His clients number over 150 global companies in pharmaceutical, fine and specialty chemicals and commodity chemicals, using both batch and continuous processing. Specialties include kinetics, startup, design, troubleshooting, polymorphism and particle characterization, but Dr. Genck also has downstream expertise in centrifugation, filtration, drying, caking and milling. He has writtenextensively, and authored the chapter on Crystallization for the third edition of McGraw-Hill’s Handbook of Separation Techniques for Chemical Engineers. Dr. Genck has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Iowa State University, and received the Professional Achievement Citation from that institution.
